Pain of Salvation — Road Salt Two

Вот что Даниель сказал касательно концепции дилогии Road Salt, отметив что идея была позаимствована из фильма Магнолия 1999 года.

Это нехронологические истории как в предыдущих альбомах. Это несколько параллельных историй, расширяющиеся в течении всей записи и начинающие вибрировать на той же скорости и частоте, как вся истрория целиком... Главная идея была в сравнении цепи событий, сравнить пути выбора героев, их пункты назначения. И несмотря на ту, какую дорогу выбрал герой этого фильма — главное в ключевых кадрах. В этих точках вы можете наблюдать те самые перспективы, которые могут быть недоступны с первого взгляда. Вот эти ключевые кадры — свое рода сингулярности разных дорог, которые приводят разных людей к разным вещам, но при этом соединяя их.

Интересный факт: на внутренней части обратной стороны обложки диска говорится:
